These are GENUINE DZUS FASTENERS bought from Southco in the UK.
THESE ARE SMALLER THAN STANDARD 6MM STUDS. PLEASE GO BACK AND SELECT THE 6MM STUDS IF YOU WANT STANDARD SIZE DZUS USED ON MOST FAIRINGS. WE ONLY USE THESE ON THE DUCATI 1098, 848 & 1198 AS THEY PASS THROUGH THE FRAME WITHOUT THE NEED TO DRILL IT OUT.
These Dzus studs are 4.35mm in diameter at the widest part of the shaft (locking spiral at the end) and 4mm along the main shaft. They have an D-Ring Handle and slot in the top of the head.
These studs are 15.5mm long from under the head.
Each kit contains:
1x Dzus Quarter Turn Fastener
1x Clear Nylon Washer
1x Black Retaining Washer
The sizes below are the total of both panels, one panel with the clip attached and the panel you are fastening to it. Please account also for any gaps or brackets between the two panels. We supply 2 washers that are 0.5mm thick each, so this accounts for 1mm.
