Honda VF1000R 1984-1988 Fairing Screen Bolts Dzus Option Stainless Steel Screws

This kit will fit the Honda VF1000R model.

This kit is designed to replace all the visible external fairing & screen bolts with nice shiny stainless steel bolts.

This kit features high quality Stainless Steel Pan Head Bolts with a head diameter of 13.5mm (m5), 14mm (m6) and large (18mm diameter) headed shoulder bolts. These bolts are Stainless Steel which are better than standard OEM zinc plated bolts as they won't rust and have a shine that lasts for years.

These are not Honda bolts, they are bolts we have had made from Stainless Steel to replace/upgrade the standard Honda bolts. They have a similar head shape, thread diameter and thread length dimensions to the standard bolts so will look like original bolts but remain rust-free for a lot longer. Different sized bolts are packaged separately in groups to make it easy for you to replace each standard bolt with the corresponding Stainless Steel bolt from Speedy Fasteners.

This kit has the necessary quantity of shouldered bolts to match the original bolts. These are required to correctly space your bolt head from the fairing to prevent pinching or over-tightening of the fairing. These shoulders are part of the bolt not a separate collar.

This kit will replace all the external fairing bolts and fixings securing the:
Upper Fairing / Cowl
Windshield / Screen
Rear Fairing

Included in this 79 piece kit are:
33 Stainless Steel Bolts
33 Nylon Washers
8 Rubber Well Nuts
7 Metal Spring Clips

However you can opt for the Dzus kit which includes:
7 Genuine Dzus Studs (Posi Head)
7 Dzus Clip/Receptacles
7 Dzus Retaining Washers
26 Stainless Steel Bolts
26 Nylon Washers
8 Rubber Well Nuts

Please note the Dzus are not stainless steel, but zinc plated steel. They are genuine Dzus parts and they do not make them in stainless.
